Se conocieron las nominaciones para la 74ª entrega de los Emmy Awards, los premios más codiciados de la industria televisiva. El anuncio estuvo a cargo de los actores Melissa Fumaro y JB Smoove, y dejó como principales candidatos a Succession (25), Ted Lasso (20), The White Lotus (20), Hacks (17), Only Murders in the Building (17) y Euphoria (16), que obtuvieron la mayor cantidad de menciones.
La ceremonia será el próximo lunes 12 de septiembre y será transmitida por TNT a las 21.00 horas, con un pre-show que iniciará a las 20.00 horas.
En las categorías principales, como Mejor Serie de Drama, los nominados son Better Call Saul, Euphoria, Ozark, Severance, Squid Game, Stranger Things, Succession y Yellowjackets.
En Mejor Serie de Comedia, la competencia es entre Abbott Elementary, Barry, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Hacks, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Only Murders in the Building, Ted Lasso y What We Do in the Shadows.
En tanto, la Mejor Miniserie tiene como candidatos a Dopesick, The Dropout, Inventing Anna, Pam & Tommy y The White Lotus.
